Our Beginning

Matthew and Samantha Peters

est. July 6, 2013 

We met our first week at Pacific Lutheran University in IHON 111. Our professor, Dr. Ihssen, likes to credit herself with our successful relationship since we met in her class.

We dated a for a few months, but broke before freshman year ended. Over the summer we both grew in our individual faiths and began a new faith-based relationship our sophomore year. We've been together ever since :) Here are a few photos from our wedding in Salem, OR at the Salvation Army Kroc Center. 

These photos were taken on the way/before our fist look at the Historical Deepwood Estates.

We did a foot washing ceremony to demonstrate our love and service for each other, as Christ did for his disciples.

We were blessed with a beautiful sunny day for our wedding and it couldn't have gone better. I love looking through our wedding photos and reliving the memories, and it's only been about 3 months. I imagine these photos will only become more precious as time passes.
